For CSS Ninjas there is no time to hesitate. We train ourselves to do our work as fast and efficiently as possible. Our only code are web standards and we follow them in every single action we take.
- 1. What kind of service do you offer?
We turn your designs into web standards compliant XHTML and CSS. A lot of people call this "PSD to XHTML"
- 2. Who are you?
We are a team of experienced and professional coders who gained their XHTML and CSS skills working at well-recognized web design studios. One day, we decided to start doing what we love the most - helping designers turn their work into clean and beautiful markup.
- 3. What are your normal business hours?
Our regular business week is Monday to Friday. Even CSS Ninjas need to time to relax but in the case of an urgent project we can discuss and overcome the craziest deadlines.
- 4. How much time does it take?
We take around 3 business days to deliver completed templates (depending on the size and complexity of your project). As soon as we receive your order, we carefully review all designs and get back to you with an exact delivery time. Let us know if you have a burning deadline and you need the job done in less than 3 days.
- 5. How can I contact you?
Please use our contact form to get in touch with us. If you prefer to use IM - let us know your contact address and we will find you.
- 6. What kind of assets and information do you need to start working?
We definitely need all source files (PSD files). It's very important to share all requirement details and please make sure to send any special font that is being used on design. Good idea is to additionally provide us with flattened images (JPG/PNG files) that could work as a guidelines if they show all existing and important layers (all levels of flyout menu, hovers, select states, etc...)
- 7. Do you make designs?
Yes we do! We can provide top quality design on request. Please use our contact form to tell us about your requirements.
- 1. What file format can you work with?
The preferred file format is PSD (Photoshop) or PNG (Fireworks). Working with those is easy and you are guaranteed to receive the best possible results. If your design is simple, we do accept flattened PNG or JPG files as well (if layer separation isn't needed).
- 2. What kind of cross-browser compatibility do you guarantee?
We test our work on the following browsers: Firefox, Internet Explorer (8+), Opera, Safari and Google Chrome. We make sure that our XHTML and CSS templates work, look good and are as close to the design as possible. If you want to be sure that our markup will be displayed properly on different or older versions of the listed browsers - please let us know.
- 3. Do you need to know where in my design I want things like Flash, AjAX, sIFR, the location of expandable elements, or can you guess?
We want to provide exactly the code you need, so we definitely don't want to guess. It's always best for the end result to be as specific as possible. Be detailed in explaining how you want your design to work and what elements it will consist of, and we will work to meet all your requirements.
- 5. Do you offer sIFR implementation?
Yes we do. Be sure to let us know where exactly you want sIFR to be implemented and provide us with all the necessary fonts.
- 6. Do you embed Flash files?
Yes we do. We use only proper W3C techniques to add Flash pieces to your XHTML and CSS templates.
- 7. Do you offer open source CMS/Blog integration?
We love working with the WordPress platform. We offer template integration as a special service so please contact us if that's what you're looking for.
Billing and payment questions
- 1. How can I pay for your service?
We accept PayPal payments, which includes payment by credit or debit card as well. We are happy to accept bank transfer but if you are in a rush it's better to use PayPal — we secure your payment much faster and we can start working right away.
- 2. What currency do you use for pricing?
Our prices are in USD, Euro and GBP - please choose your preferred currency by clicking the right button under the slider.
- 3. When should I pay for your service?
We ask for a 50% deposit before we start our work. The remaining balance will be due after completion of the project.
- 4. What happens if I'm not happy with end result?
We offer as many rounds of revisions as needed to meet your requirements and expectations. However, this does not mean revisions to your original design or content, or changes to our implementation strategy which was established at the beginning of the project. This kind of work is treated as supplemental and will be quoted separately.
- 1. Can we keep the relationship between us only?
Yes we can. We can also sign a NDA if needed. To sum it up - if you don't want anybody knowing that you are using our services, we won't let it happen. Of course, it would be great to add your project to our portfolio, but we won't do it without asking for your permission.
- 2. Do you leave any "signs" within the code that refer to CSS Ninjas?
Yes, but we won't if you let us know we shouldn’t. No problem!
- 3. Can you guarantee that nobody will see my designs before I publish them?
Rest assured! Your work is safe in our hands. We make sure that all the assets you provided aren't leaked.
- 4. Who holds the ownership and rights?
